My grandmother passing away is my most painful experience. She was/is like a mother to me and I have always been very committed to her in my life. From this experience I felt true appreciation for every moment I have the opportunity to share with someone.

6. What did you learn recently?

I recently learned that I can start giving back to my passion for wildlife conservation NOW. There is no level of success that gives you a go ahead for giving back. I often believed I had to wait until I was super successful to make big change and I feel just as purposeful making small steps until I get there.

7. Divide your age by half , who were you then?

I was very angry with the world, I felt I had to create an intimidating persona to protect myself from the people around me (high school). I had experienced a lot of bullying in elementary school so I became a leaner version of myself as a survival instinct. It’s unfortunate that I share this with so many women and stand for our next generation to be more united as women of power, not trauma.

8. Think back 5-10 years, what moved the needle in your success?

Saying yes. I never questioned my ability to do anything, even if it was a first. This is why when I started working in business development, videography, and content I went head first to learn as I went along. I got my hands dirty and had to learn how to clean them right away, which had my learning process move quickly. I am sure that in action, you discover so much more than in theory.
